If you're passing through Exit J of Hong Kong’s Central MTR Station, prepare to be charmed by the feline stars of THE COMMEOWNITY—a purr-fect photography exhibition at the MTR Art Gallery. Running until June 30, this free showcase offers busy commuters and office workers a delightful glimpse into the heartwarming cat community of Sai Ying Pun.  

The exhibition is cleverly divided into four themed zones: the Store Manager’s Cute Friend Photo Gallery, Cute Tea Restaurant, Super Cute Seafood Street, and Cute Grocery Store. Each section introduces a different "cat store manager," guiding visitors through the cozy streets and hidden corners of Sai Ying Pun, where these furry locals reign supreme.  

Featuring the work of acclaimed photographer Jonas Chan—whose images were honored in the 2019 National Geographic Travel Photo Contest—the exhibition captures the playful and tender moments between Sai Ying Pun’s cats and their human neighbors. His lens reveals the district’s unique charm, where feline charisma and community warmth go hand in paw.
