Get ready for nine days of non-stop excitement as the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races transform the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront into a vibrant festival from May 31 to June 8! Organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, this year’s event packs a punch with high-speed races, mouthwatering street food, free-flowing beer, and world-class acrobatics—guaranteed to keep the energy soaring from dawn till dusk.

On June 7–8, the competition heats up as 190+ teams (over 4,500 athletes) from 12 countries and regions—including powerhouses like China, Thailand, and newcomers Egypt and Qatar—battle for glory in Victoria Harbour’s iconic waters.

The fun kicks off May 31 with the Dragon Boat Day and Night Carnival at the Avenue of Stars. Savor festive treats like dragon boat-shaped snacks and sticky rice dumplings, or snap selfies with Ocean Park’s beloved pandas dressed in adorable dragon boat attire!

Don’t miss the grand finale weekend (June 7–8) at the Urban Council Centenary Garden, where Cirque du Soleil’s jaw-dropping acrobatics and live street performances will electrify the harborfront. Grab your crew—this is one festival you won’t forget!
