This is very different. I mean it’s on the sea, right? My hometown is in the forest, in the hills. It’s not really close to this. So, look, I love my hometown, but I have to be honest, this place is more beautiful than my hometown. My wish is that people like you discover this place, not just this restaurant, but also discover this beautiful street, and this beautiful town.

 From Serbia to China, Chef Bojan embarked on an epic culinary journey. In Zhuhai's Tangjiawan Town, he met Zhou Xufeng, a veteran of Spain's hospitality industry with 30 years of experience. Their instant connection led to something extraordinary—a restaurant blending cultures as richly as flavors.

We are trying to bring together not just Spanish cuisine, but also Italian, also Greek, also Balkan cuisines, also Turkish cuisines like dessert we have here. We are trying to put all these things together. I think I cannot swear but I think this would be a pretty unique place.

China is so vibrant and powerful now—why should I stay in Europe? I must return to my own country to make a difference. Tangjiawan Town is culturally rich for me. On the left is Zhuhai Study Aboard Cultural Center, on the right is the Tangjiawan Nostalgia Hall, and in front is the Tang Ti-sheng Grand Theater. The entire area beautifully blends Chinese and Western cultures. Interestingly, the name of our restaurant is ELARBOL, which is translated as 'tree.' It resonates with the ancient kapok tree in front of us.

After a two-year transformation, Tangjiawan Town now sparkles with renewed charm. Its Qing Dynasty architecture stands proudly alongside modern touches, creating a seamless fusion of past and present—and drawing crowds from near and far.

There are also many tourists from Hong Kong and Macau. Their first feedback is that the place is affordable. Tourists from these regions make up more than one-third of our total visitors.
