Ginkgo trees across China have burst into their golden splendour, transforming parks and streets into radiant autumn wonderlands. In Beijing, the 11th Ditan Ginkgo Cultural Festival is now in full swing, drawing crowds eager to capture the city’s most photogenic season.
At Ditan Park, more than 200 ginkgo trees have turned a brilliant yellow, their leaves glowing under the warm autumn sun. The contrast of red walls, grey tiles, and shimmering foliage creates a picture-perfect harmony steeped in old Beijing charm. “The moment I saw the sea of golden leaves, I was truly amazed,” said visitor Liu Min.
Running until November 16, the festival combines natural beauty with lively markets featuring local delicacies, artisan crafts, and cultural events. From photography exhibitions to creative fairs, visitors are embracing the season’s golden glow and the rich cultural spirit that comes with it.
