Sun Yat-sen Memorial Park is located in southern Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, south China. It is one of Zhongshan’s top scenic spots.

Construction of the park began in 1994, with it officially opening 2 years later on the 12 of November 1996 – Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s birthday.

Its tree-lined paths and dense vegetation create a serene green oasis in the heart of Zhongshan’s bustling cityscape.

At the central square of the park stands the Sun Yat-sen bronze statue. The statue rises from its platform in a solemn and resolute pose – a place of commemoration, but also a popular spot for locals to walk, and tourists to visit.
