Yunxi Botanical Garden in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in southern China, has launched an ecological welcome season that dresses the park in seasonal colour. At its core are a blooming sea of cosmos and a stand of dawn redwoods, linked by flower-viewing plots, trails, a camping lawn, and a creative cultural display area.

The cosmos beds include walk-in photo installations, allowing visitors to pose among the blooms, snap photos beside a floral display of the characters “Yunxi,” or step into a staged “hot-air balloon” for pictures. The design aims to make flower viewing playful and highly shareable.

The dawn redwood grove is at its peak season, with the trees taking on rich red tones that transform the hillside into a vast, painterly scene. The combined displays have attracted locals and tourists who come to stroll, take photographs, and enjoy a relaxed outdoor welcome to the new season.
