This autumn, the 2nd Chinese Festive Lantern Carnival kicks off in spectacular style at Zhuhai New Yuanming Garden in south China’s Guangdong Province. The event features an immersive night tour built around an original imperial cat IP as its centerpiece. Leveraging the site’s imperial garden heritage, the project integrates traditional culture and the intangible cultural heritage of festive lantern craftsmanship to deliver a brand-new nighttime cultural and tourism experience for local residents and visitors alike.

Across the carnival grounds, adorable imperial cat-themed lantern displays are dotted across the landscape. Paired with a full lineup of events including dance performances, the carnival invites visitors of all ages to dive into a fully immersive experience.
