[China Travelogue] Sunflower Season: A Golden Symphony in Nansha
[China Travelogue] Sunflower Season: A Golden Symphony in Nansha
: :

You know Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, but have you wandered through a living canvas of 210,000 sunflowers swaying across 140 acres?

At Guangzhou’s Nansha Guantan Agricultural Park, nature outshines art. Bathed in golden light, the blooms blaze under blue skies, their oversized heads—bursting with seeds—creating a spectacle even bolder than last year’s. Watch as the flowers transform daily: centers shift from creamy whispers to rich chocolate as seeds mature.

The golden wave began in late May and crests now, with peak blooms lasting through early July. Visitors flock to meander through radiant fields, climb observation decks, and capture the magic. To ease access, the park offers free shuttles from subway stations and ample parking.

Adding to the buzz, vibrant shipping containers and 50 pop-up stalls sell local treats and farm-fresh delights, some earning up to 10,000 RMB daily. Proof that beauty and business bloom brilliantly together.
