China's latest manned space mission, Shenzhou-18, saw three 80’s astronauts: Ye Guangfu, Li Cong, and Li Guangsu successfully landed the Tiangong space station after a successful launch. They will stay there for six-month and carry out a series of over 90 experiments in the space.

Among the experiments planned, the crew members will conduct an on-orbit rotation as part of their mission. Additionally, they will conduct plant cultivation experiments with a view to developing crops that can thrive in outer space conditions.

The crew will also set up an "aquarium" to study the growth of zebrafish and algae in zero gravity, examining how the space environment impacts their development and the aquatic ecosystem. Other experiments include basic physics in microgravity, space material and life science, space medicine, and space technology.
