Google has rolled out its Gemini mobile app to all users in Hong Kong, expanding access to its AI experience following the earlier launch of the web version.

The move marks a broader push to integrate Gemini across daily life in the city. The app enables users to tap into Google’s latest AI models for tasks ranging from drafting emails and brainstorming ideas to planning trips. As a multimodal tool, it supports text, images and audio, and can also generate creative content such as visuals and music.

Michael Yue, Managing Director and General Manager of Google Hong Kong, said the technology is already being adopted across diverse local communities, including businesses, developers, educators and students.

“This expansion further advances our mission to organise the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful,” he said.

Google added that it will continue building a responsible AI ecosystem to enhance creativity and productivity across Hong Kong.
