In Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, northeast China, local celebrity penguin Taotao recently led a group of fellow penguins in a winter event at a manor-style theme park. The program blended the estate’s exotic ambience with the cuddly charm of polar animals, creating a festive seasonal highlight.

A 10-meter-tall snowman in full winter regalia stood in the plaza as Taotao and the parade of penguins filed in. Their lively presence played off the giant figure, sending the crowd into repeated cheers. The cute procession and seasonal setting together pushed the atmosphere to a joyful peak.

Taotao first became associated with the manor in 2018, and this group “home visit” reunited the mascot with its park partners. Organisers said the appearance is another successful example of collaboration between two cultural tourism IPs.
