Sichuan drew thousands of outdoor sports enthusiasts from China and abroad with a series of sporting and cultural events held against its scenic mountain and lakeside landscapes ahead of the National Day holiday.
From September 24-27, 3,300 runners from 31 provincial-level regions in China and 15 countries took part in the second Gongga 100 Glacier Extreme Race in Hailuogou, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.
