Meet Jake Lee Pinnick - 16th-generation heir to Wudang's sacred Sanfeng lineage. Two years after first bringing his breathtaking Tai Chi to Hong Kong, he returns with new dreams and his hard-earned Five-Star Card, determined to bridge cultures through China's ancient martial wisdom.

I can say that I feel a lot more stable now. Before, I was a student for about 15 years—always studying, always learning. But now, I have this dream of sharing culture to the West, sharing culture to the world. With this Five-Star Card, this permanent residency, I have the opportunity to develop in China, start my own center, find a place, and teach not just Chinese people but also foreigners. So I hope I can create an environment where people can come together. I can become a bridge to share my experience and share culture to the rest of the world.

Actually I have a lot of chances to come to Hong Kong. This is one of the first events I came to 2 years ago and the second time I'm attending now. It's always a really good experience because I feel like there's a lot of interest in traditional culture. There's a really vibrant community for these activities, so coming here is a really great opportunity.

A lot of people in the West, when they think of Chinese martial arts, they think of the traditions, the movies, the media from Hong Kong. So this is like the most famous location for transmitting culture to the West. So I think coming here is a really good opportunity to meet people and also have Wudang culture spread further.

As the cultural gateway to the world, Hong Kong is a perfect place to spread authentic  Wudang’s martial arts beyond the silver screen.
