The late-summer heat is on in Wuxi, but at the local zoo, the animals are beating the heat in style. While temperatures soar past 35°C, more than a thousand furry and feathery residents are enjoying a full VIP cool-down treatment.

The star pandas, are lounging in air-conditioned indoor suites complete with fresh-air systems and private pools—and they even get special fruit ice blocks to nibble on.

But the royal treatment doesn’t stop there. At midday, black bears and elephants get their own “artificial rain” showers, turning the hottest part of the day into a splashy playtime.

And to keep everyone refreshed, the zoo serves up 150 kilograms of watermelon, giant ice blocks, and cute fruit-filled ice treats daily. It’s a deliciously cool way to keep summer safe and fun for all!
