In Nanning, southern China, a 50,000-square-metre purple bellflower garden at Nanning Garden Expo Park has burst into bloom. More than 3,000 plants carpet the site in soft mauve waves, their clustered blossoms rippling in the winter breeze like a living, cloud-tinted tapestry.

The layered flower beds sit alongside distinctive garden architecture, together forming a new landmark in Nanning’s garden landscape.
