Snowfall has transformed Mount Huashan in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province into a striking winter landscape, as fresh snow coated its peaks last Wednesday.

The pristine scenery drew visitors eager to take in the mountain’s icy beauty, with many noting how the views shift through the seasons. “Different seasons bring different scenery and atmospheres,” said tourist Huang, who has visited the mountain several times.

Visitors were able to admire the snow-covered peaks while taking extra care on the mountain’s paths. Staff worked quickly to maintain safe walkways, ensuring everyone could enjoy the winter scenery.

Special attention was given to families and elderly visitors. “In special cases, we open green channels for the elderly and children,” said Yang Peng, head of the Jinsuo Gate Management Station, highlighting the efforts made to keep the visit both safe and enjoyable.
