Since winter began, Lugu Lake, on the border of southwest China’s Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, has presented a serene scene at sunrise. Each morning, a soft mist rises from the lake, lightly covering the distant mountains and shoreline.

As the sun rises, its warm light passes through the haze, illuminating the water and surrounding landscape. Red-billed gulls fly low over the lake, adding gentle movement to the calm scene. Visitors on the water become part of this natural setting, where mist, sunlight, and birds create a peaceful winter atmosphere.
