The Yangtze River Delta’s first and Zhejiang’s tallest super Ferris wheel, standing 131.4 meters high, has opened in Hangzhou, quickly becoming a new high-altitude landmark for couples and sightseers. The figure 131.4 is meant to echo the Chinese phrase for lifelong devotion, adding a romantic note to the attraction.
The wheel offers five themed cabins and immersive cultural experiences. A music cabin is fitted with professional speakers and a song request system, allowing riders to sing in a private, sky-high mini concert. Other cabins explore history, romance, starry-sky ambiance, and playful game elements, giving visitors distinct experiences tailored to different tastes.
The cabins rotate slowly to provide a relaxed, high-altitude view, and operators say the wheel combines private cabin time with sweeping panoramas and diverse themed content. Local planners intend to develop more immersive tourism projects around the Ferris wheel, using it as a focal point for year-round cultural and leisure programming.
