Hidden deep in southern Xinjiang in northwest China, Atushi Tianmen is a colossal natural stone arch, tucked within the western Tianshan range.
Rising over 450 metres high and about 100 metres wide, it is the largest and highest geological arch formation discovered in China.
Its towering cliffs are dotted with honeycomb-like cavities, where voices and even small knocks echo across the rock face.
The stone walls resemble intricate, fantastical murals, making it a striking playground for climbers and adventure seekers alike.
