This summer, over 2,400 acres of sunflowers have erupted into a golden sea in Shirenzigou Village, Urumqi, in Xinjiang—drawing both locals and travelers to bask in the bloom.

Winding paths cut through the fields, inviting visitors to stroll among the towering stalks, brush petals with their fingertips, and breathe in the fresh, plant-kissed air.

What was once a barren hillside is now a vibrant oasis. The rippling blossoms have become a boon for the village—beautifying the landscape and boosting tourism income for local residents.
