A parade of figures dressed in Warring States–era robes recently wound beneath Bingyang Tower in the historic city of Jingzhou, central China, as the second edition of the city’s spring travel photo festival opened. The event staged a cross-time audiovisual spectacle that invited visitors to step into the past.
A lion dance team led the procession, followed by costumed performers in carefully crafted robes that echo styles from thousands of years ago. The route drew large crowds who stopped to watch, photograph, and soak up the lively atmosphere.
The parade finished at three themed photo walls, where free robes were available in various sizes and styles for different age groups. Performers stayed on hand to interact, pose, and accompany visitors for photos, and staff offered a complimentary try-on experience so families and tourists could have professional-style travel shots in historic costume.
Organizers describe the festival as a family-friendly, immersive way to celebrate regional heritage while giving locals and visitors a memorable springtime spectacle.
