The inaugural ‘Shenyang-Bely Rast’ China-Europe freight train recently departed from the China-Europe Railway Express (Shenyang) Assembly Center, carrying 55 forty-foot containers loaded with electrical appliances, mechanical equipment, and daily necessities destined for the Bely Rast logistics hub in Moscow, Russia.
Spanning a total distance of more than 8,000 kilometers, the journey takes just 10 days—5 days faster than conventional rail services. This highly efficient ‘hub-to-hub’ transit model significantly enhances cross-border logistics connectivity and offers a new, reliable channel for shipping high-value and time-sensitive goods between China and markets in Europe and Russia.
Now, the Shenyang Assembly Center provides rail connections to over 50 cities across more than 20 countries, including destinations in Europe, Central Asia, Japan, and South Korea. As the largest and most efficient rail freight hub in Northeast China, it boasts the most extensive network, fastest transit times, and best cost-performance ratio, forming a vital ‘golden corridor’ linking the region to Eurasia.
