Shenzhen has launched a dedicated artificial intelligence data platform to help one-person companies (OPCs) lower innovation costs and accelerate AI application development.

Operated by the government-backed big data centre GBAnexus, the platform provides cloud computing resources, AI model services and data APIs through a unified system. Computing resources are available at 50 to 80 percent of prevailing market prices, reducing operating costs for early-stage entrepreneurs.

The platform also offers access to more than 40 billion processed and standardised data records, built over four years and designed for immediate use in AI applications. The database is expected to expand by around 3 million records each day.

Entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and Macau who establish businesses in mainland China are also eligible to use the platform, supporting Greater Bay Area innovation. The initiative is part of Shenzhen's 2026–2027 AI entrepreneurship plan to establish more than 10 OPC communities, incubate 1,000 AI startups and attract 10,000 AI professionals by 2027.
