[China Thrills] Fuzhou Panda World Reopens with Five New Giant Pandas
: :

Fuzhou Panda World in east China’s Fujian Province has reopened following a major renovation, welcoming five new giant pandas from Chengdu. Named Jingliang, Ailun, Rongyao, Qicheng, and Qihang, the pandas completed a 20-day adaptation period before making their public debut, bringing fresh energy and excitement to the park.

As a public welfare institution, Fuzhou Panda World is dedicated to giant panda conservation, scientific research, and public education. Since introducing its first pandas in 1977, it has become China’s third specialised giant panda research institution, after the China Conservation and Research Centre for the Giant Panda and the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.

The new arrivals not only enchant visitors but also strengthen scientific and cultural exchanges between Fuzhou and Chengdu, offering a lively platform for public engagement in giant panda conservation.
