[China Thrills] Playful Ice-Cream Culture Park Opens in Shenyang
: :

A new ice cream culture park has opened in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, in northeast China, blending classic local flavors with contemporary creativity. An 11-meter-long “Happy Worm” installation made its debut amid rich scene-setting and immersive displays, drawing many residents who paused to pose and sample treats.

The park was designed and is operated by a long-established Shenyang cold-drinks company with about 40 years of history in the city. It offers a range of ice cream products suited for breakfast, afternoon tea, or any time in between. According to the operator, each visitor receives a worm-shaped ice cream, and many queue for photos in front of the giant Happy Worm.

Beyond scoops, the site includes bakery and tea outlets, as well as a line of practical souvenirs such as fridge magnets, key rings, and plush toys. Centered on childlike fun, the park aims to create a new, family-friendly space for relaxation, food, and light entertainment, turning Shenyang flavors into a shareable cultural symbol.
