In Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province in eastern China, drifting snow and crystalline rime have dressed Huaguo Mountain in white, transforming the park into an icy winter landscape. Photographers rose early to hike the slopes and capture the scene as frosted peaks and trees caught the low winter light.

Blankets of snow cover the ridges, while pines stand dusted with hoarfrost, their branches hung with glittering ice. The layered hills and clean lines of the landscape create striking compositions, where caves, pools, and frosted trees combine to form a richly textured winter tableau.

The post-snow scenery also brought out the mountain’s familiar wild residents. Monkeys that live in the park moved in small groups to keep warm or search for food. Long accustomed to people, they maintained a natural distance from photographers while providing lively, indispensable subjects for many shots.
