Guangzhou, a city in southern China, recently held its Coffee Culture Week, where rich coffee aromas filled the venue and an array of distinctive drinks was presented to the public.
Standout offerings included an Americano blended with the city’s famous pineapple-beer-flavored soft drink, along with special brews infused with iconic Lingnan fruits such as lychee, wampee, and pineapple. Some beverages were even served in traditional rooster-patterned bowls that guests could keep as souvenirs after finishing their drinks.
The event took place in Dongshankou, an area known for its vibrant cultural and tourism atmosphere, convenient transportation links, and constant pedestrian traffic. Home to numerous coffee shops, the district is especially popular among young people.
Guangzhou has developed a network of distinctive coffee districts featuring many stylish independent cafés. Yuexiu District serves as a core part of this coffee culture landscape. Historic heritage buildings blend naturally with the aroma of coffee, creating a seamless fusion of commercial vitality and everyday urban charm.
