Ahead of the college entrance examination, 80 high school students from Huizhou gathered at Gaobang Mountain for the inaugural Scholars' Success Prayer Ceremony. Through traditional rites honoring Confucius, they sought blessings for their exams while reconnecting with centuries-old cultural traditions.
As drums rolled, the students, dressed in Hanfu, ascended the pavilion. With solemn bows, they paid tribute to their teachers and expressed gratitude to their parents in front of Confucius' statue.

Gaobang Mountain has long been a symbolic destination for students seeking academic success. This year, the mountain introduced the ceremony to promote the time-honored values of respecting teachers and education, with the goal of establishing it as a cultural landmark of Huizhou.
