Hong Kong shines even brighter in the global talent landscape, securing the highest-ever ranking in the World Talent Ranking 2025! The ever-evolving city has jumped five spots from last year to rank 4th on the current global talent scoreboard. This puts Hong Kong as the top talent hub in Asia!

The results compiled by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland showed that the city has thrived across three talent competitiveness factors, namely “appeal,” “readiness,” and “investment and development.” Plus, it topped the charts for graduates in science, female labour force participation, availability of finance skills, and effectiveness of management education.

The Hong Kong government’s recent strides in innovation and technology, along with robust post-secondary education opportunities and friendly talent admission policies have made this year’s ranking possible.

In a changing world, Hong Kong is becoming an increasingly attractive place to live and work, drawing in high-calibre talent from all over the world. In other words, the Pearl of the Orient has emerged as an even more vibrant and dynamic global talent magnet!
