Recently, 60 teachers and students from Spain, Italy and Hungary gathered in Quzhou, east China’s Zhejiang Province, for a four-day immersive cultural study tour, experiencing the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture through on-site visits and hands-on activities.

The group visited the Quzhou Confucius Temple (Southern Branch) and the China Confucianism Museum, gaining deeper insight into Quzhou’s history and Confucian heritage. Students tried their hand at traditional rubbing tools, appreciating the elegance and delight of the ancient craft up close. At the temple, they explored relics from the Confucian clan’s southern migration, tracing how Confucian culture took root and evolved in southern China through local architecture and artifacts.

As more young foreigners learn Chinese and embrace its culture, the program acts as a bridge of culture and language, allowing participants to feel the profound depth of Confucian heritage and witness the vibrant urban development of China firsthand.
