Twenty-five ASEAN writers and twenty Chinese peers embarked on a literary adventure through Foshan's living heritage during the "Journey of ASEAN Young Writers in China." Their two-day immersion revealed Lingnan culture's timeless beauty through its architectural marvels and classical gardens.

At Chancheng District's Ancestral Temple Museum, the group marveled at the iconic Shuanglong Wall and intricate stone sculptures. Passing through three exquisitely carved gates, the ASEAN writers discovered Southern China's artistic brilliance firsthand.

Liang's Garden unfolded like a scroll painting before them. This 18th-century masterpiece, one of Guangdong's four great classical gardens, captivated with its harmonious blend of residential halls, shaded pathways, and ancestral shrines - each turn revealing another poetic composition.

"This journey has given my writing new colors," shared one participant. As cameras captured the beauty, imaginations captured something deeper - proof that cultural exchange remains literature's most powerful inspiration.
