Shanghai’s latest blood drive turned into a powerful display of unity, as expats and locals rolled up their sleeves for a shared cause: helping children in need.
For Mitesh from India, it’s personal—his own child was treated at a Shanghai hospital. "Donating blood is truly an honor," he says. Others, echoed the sentiment: "Every child deserves equal care."
Spearheaded by "Bloodline"—an expat volunteer team led by Dr. Ashish Maskay—the drive rallied Shanghai’s international community. "Giving back is our top goal," says Maskay.
Turkish advisor Ahmet Faruk Işık summed it up: "Today’s mix of foreign and Chinese donors is special—it’s about people helping people."
One pint at a time, they’re proving compassion knows no borders.
