Colombian maestro Fernando Botero brings his iconic "inflationary aesthetics" to Guangzhou for the first time, showcasing 81 masterpieces that capture his signature voluptuous style.  

The exhibition spans oil paintings, sculptures, and watercolors celebrating Latin American life - from vibrant circus scenes to dramatic bullfights and lush still lifes. Over 70 prolific years, Botero blended classical techniques with contemporary verve, creating exaggerated yet harmonious forms filled with wit and humanity.  

Ranked among Latin America's most influential 20th-century artists, Botero's work has graced Paris' Grand Palais, Rome's Palazzo delle Esposizioni, and Tokyo's Metropolitan Art Museum. Though the artist passed in 2023, this exhibition proves his joyful, universal vision remains immortal - a triumphant ode to cultural richness and the beauty of form.
