Hong Kong’s harbourfront welcomes a fresh connection with the opening of WestK Quay, a new pier located in the West Kowloon Cultural District. The new pier will launch public ferry services on 15 November, linking West Kowloon to Central Pier No. 9 in just eight minutes. 

Operated by Fortune Ferry, the service runs every 30 minutes, offering air-conditioned cabins, bicycle storage, and pet-friendly access. To celebrate the launch, 3,000 complimentary tickets for adults and 500 for pets were distributed this week, allowing passengers to enjoy free rides over the opening weekend.

Complementing the new connection, five dining concepts will open along the quay from 13 November, serving everything from nostalgic boat noodles to Japanese and vegetarian dishes. With water taxis rerouted to berth here and free private vessel access set for December, WestK Quay is emerging as both a new gateway and a leisure destination along the Victoria Harbour waterfront.
