Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is expanding its cross-boundary travel services for Greater Bay Area (GBA) residents, with its “Park & Fly” programme set to cover all GBA cities from mid-June and a new “Park & Visit” service launching in July. The expansion follows the wider rollout of the Southbound Travel for Guangdong Vehicles scheme, which now includes Shenzhen, Dongguan, Huizhou, Foshan and Zhaoqing in addition to the existing participating cities. From 15 June, eligible travellers can drive via the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge to HKIA’s automated car park and connect to international flights without entering Hong Kong. Meanwhile, the new “Park & Visit” service will open for applications on 16 July. From 25 July, eligible visitors can drive to the airport’s automated car park before taking a shuttle to the Hong Kong Port for immigration clearance and onward travel into the city. HKIA said the enhanced services will strengthen regional connectivity while making travel and leisure visits to Hong Kong more convenient.
