[HK Thrills] Step into a Wes Anderson Dreamscape in Hong Kong
[HK Thrills] Step into a Wes Anderson Dreamscape in Hong Kong
: :

This summer, the wildly popular Accidentally Wes Anderson (AWA) exhibition makes its Hong Kong debut, transforming The Mills and AIRSIDE into a vibrant ode to the director’s iconic aesthetic. Running until September 14, 2025, this immersive experience invites visitors to wander through a world of symmetrical charm, nostalgic hues, and whimsical storytelling—as if stepping into one of Anderson’s films.

Featuring 100+ striking real-life photographs from across the globe, the exhibition reimagines everyday scenes with Anderson’s signature magic. At The Mills, the Hong Kong Theme Area puts a local spin on the aesthetic, spotlighting Victoria Park Tennis Court, Choi Hung Estate, Wah Fu Estate, and Po Lin Monastery through his unmistakable lens.

Over at AIRISDE, the journey continues with dreamy transport and nature vignettes—trains gliding past snow-dusted forests, cable cars suspended in midair—evoking the enchanting escapism of The Grand Budapest Hotel. A visual feast for fans and wanderers alike.
