This robotic squad is revolutionizing infrastructure inspections, autonomously monitoring electrical rooms, tunnels, and overhead cables while logging data and flagging issues in real-time. Equipped with infrared thermal imaging, gas detection, partial discharge sensors, and AR smart glasses, these high-tech inspectors give maintenance crews X-ray vision into underground pipelines.

Meanwhile, the Fok Ying Tung Research Institute's Energy Center is rolling out game-changing ‘nano-cooling’ gear for outdoor staff, such as next-gen cooling helmets. Their temperature-control tech will also upgrade outdoor equipment and even keep volunteer stations refreshingly cool through advanced surface treatments.
