At the 2025 World Robot Conference, robotics innovations from Chengdu tech firms took center stage, drawing significant international attention and securing substantial overseas orders—marking a successful entry into the global market.
Among them were two agricultural robots, Little Chubby and Little Slim, developed independently by a local agri-tech company. Capable of operating autonomously without human intervention, they perform tasks such as field inspection, growth cycle monitoring, and data analysis with ease. Their debut sparked considerable excitement at the event, leading to orders from more than 10 countries totaling over 10 million RMB.
Also in the spotlight was an industrial robot equipped with more than 300 patented technologies. Designed to recognize and adapt to over 90% of industrial scenarios, it features autonomous decision-making and is deployed in challenging environments such as dust-heavy grinding and high-temperature welding operations. Already exported to more than 30 countries and regions, this robot continues to undergo technological upgrades as part of efforts to expand its global footprint.
