The second-phase production lines of the large-scale new energy battery manufacturing base in Jiangmen have begun commissioning, positioning the facility to become Guangdong Province’s largest new energy battery production base.

As a flagship project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the base’s 10 first-phase automated production lines saw their output value surge from RMB 2 billion to RMB 5.6 billion over the past two years, supplying high-quality new energy batteries to major electric vehicle and electronics manufacturers. With the gradual commissioning of seven intelligent production lines in the second phase, the base’s annual production capacity will reach 70 GWh, while its output value is expected to exceed RMB 10 billion.

The expansion of the base has accelerated the development of Jiangmen’s new energy battery industrial chain, with upstream and downstream supporting industries becoming increasingly well established. The management team noted sustained growth in demand for new energy batteries and energy storage solutions and expressed strong confidence in both the company’s future and the long-term development of the Greater Bay Area.
