Sunlight glittered off dozens of steel beasts at the Hongyu GDC International Science, Education & Sports Racing Center (Hongyu GDC Racing Center) in Foshan, where everything from American muscle lines to elegant European curves drew car lovers’ lenses.
The Hongyu GDC International Racing Carnival, held at China’s first world-class remote-control car racing centre, blended motorsport with car culture. The event hosted the Foshan International Remote-Control Championship and showcased more than 30 vintage and modified cars, giving fans from Guangzhou, Foshan, and the Pearl River Delta plenty to admire.
The modified car showcase featured drift cars, high-performance models, and sports cars — each custom detail reflecting its owner’s personality and drawing plenty of selfies.
As the inaugural carnival rolled on, a food festival, music parties, and other events made the site a day-to-night celebration where motorsport and lifestyle meet.
