Two nearly 200-metre towers now face each other above the skyline, forming the project’s striking "Gate of the Era" silhouette as construction on Shanghai’s Lingang West Island Financial Center advances. The most challenging works, including the glass curtain walls, are finished and landscape work is more than half complete.

Workers are laying paving, tending new planting and assembling various landscape features. The site’s total landscape area is about 100,000 square metres, arranged symmetrically along Dishui Lake’s centerline. A 10,000-square-metre waterfront lawn along the lake will become the development’s closest public waterside spot.

Interior fit-out is progressing in parallel and model units are fully finished, offering sweeping lake views. Once complete, the complex will serve mainly as financial headquarters while also housing high-end retail and five-star hotels, creating a large mixed-use hub.
