During the Spring Festival, Wuxi Zoo launched a series of horse-themed activities—from animal encounters to tech-driven experiences—inviting everyone to join a festive celebration full of fun and knowledge.
At the entrance, visitors were greeted by a panda-style robot dog and a beautifully decorated horse, adding to the lively holiday spirit. This year’s stars are a mother dwarf horse and her foal, offering visitors the chance to take photos at themed spots such as “Instant Fortune.” The newly opened bird garden, spanning about 3,000 square meters, also made its debut, featuring rare species such as golden pheasants and scarlet ibis. Designed with separate “forest” and “wetland” zones, it caters to the different ecological needs of birds.
The zoo also hosted concerts, orienteering activities, educational tours, and cultural exhibits, allowing visitors to enjoy close-up animal viewing while learning about biodiversity in a fun, engaging atmosphere.
