A heartwarming scene unfolded at a giant panda conservation base in southwest China’s Sichuan Province, where panda mother Fu Feng and her young twins were seen enjoying a snowy day together.

The playful trio turned their enclosure into a winter playground, with the cubs climbing, tumbling and exploring a wooden frame lightly covered in fresh snow. Fu Feng stayed close by, occasionally joining in the fun as the young pandas tested their balance and curiosity in the wintry setting.

Fu Feng and her twin brother Fu Ban were born on 7 August 2016 in Austria before returning to China on 4 December 2018.

Nearly a decade later, Fu Feng welcomed a new generation of pandas, giving birth to twin cubs in August 2025.

Today, the panda family lives at the Wolong Shenshuping Base of the China Conservation and Research Centre for the Giant Panda, a key hub for panda protection, research and breeding.
