[Cultural China] A Memorable Mid-Autumn for Multi-Ethnic Families
: :

Guangxi, a multi-ethnic province, enjoys a vibrant calendar of cultural exchange activities. As the Mid-Autumn Festival approached, a children's book corner in Nanning hosted a special thematic event, bringing together families from various ethnic groups.

The children, dressed in traditional Hanfu, transformed into little immortals. They were captivated by the rich cultural atmosphere as they listened to a teacher dressed as Chang'e, the Moon Goddess, narrate the festival's origins and recite classic poems about the occasion.

Later, the children joined their parents in making mooncakes and lanterns. Parents noted that, the intricate steps involved tested the children's patience. Tasks that might have been challenging at home became achievable here, as the children encouraged each other and learned together. The heartwarming atmosphere and the final results delighted everyone.

This year's Mid-Autumn Festival is sure to be a memorable one for them, planting a lasting seed of cultural appreciation in the hearts of these young children from various ethnic groups.
