[Cultural China] Zhuhai's Heritage Market Wows Crowds in 2026
: :

Zhuhai's first heritage market of 2026 just wrapped up, and it was a hit. The place was buzzing—where old-school craft met everyday fun.

The real star is always the food. Everyone had a cup of freshly brewed milk tea—sweet, warm, and totally comforting. At the traditional sugar stalls, big woks simmered with brown sugar, spreading a cozy sweetness everywhere. Watching skilled artisans turn syrup into delicate sugar animals is pure magic for kids.

Nearby, the calligraphy corner smelled like ink and tradition. Local calligraphers’ hand-lettered Spring Festival couplets drew crowds eager for a personalised piece. The whole scene was set to the soothing soundtrack of live Cantonese opera.

The organisers say these markets are all about making heritage fresh and fun. They're planning to mix in more—like farm-fresh goods and tourism elements—to keep the community coming back for more.
