By the ancient Tapo Well, crowds gathered to wash their hands with blessed Tapo water. Featuring stunning ancient-style art installations celebrating the charm of Tapo, known as "the Origin of Foshan," alongside dazzling fish lantern parades and bustling market stalls, the 11th Tapo Temple Fair has officially opened in Foshan, southern China.

During the water-passing ceremony, water was slowly drawn from the thousand-year-old well. Led by grand fish lantern formations, participants relayed the blessed Tapo water—a symbol of good fortune and smooth sailing—to Zhaoxiang Park, the event's second venue. The water was then poured into a ceremonial vessel of blessings, carrying people's wishes for favorable weather and shared well-being.

Inside the park, kung fu performances, paper-cutting demonstrations, original local ballads, and dance performances took the stage in turn. Multiple intangible cultural heritage markets featuring Foshan-themed cultural and creative products were also set up. By combining traditional water rituals, the symbolic water-passing ceremony, and distinctive fair activities, the event has attracted large numbers of local residents and tourists.
