China’s first humanoid robot automated production line, with an annual capacity of 10,000 units, has officially started up in Foshan, southern China. The line can produce one humanoid robot every 30 minutes, marking a major breakthrough in China’s ability to mass-produce humanoid robots.

The line relies on full-process, data-driven operations, with an AI analysis system helping to improve inventory turnover and operational efficiency. Under real-time monitoring, workers assemble hundreds of parts into the robot’s head, torso, arms, hips, thighs, and lower legs with greater speed and precision. If any step becomes a bottleneck, the factory responds immediately and adjusts the process to keep production moving.

From parts to final assembly, each robot goes through 24 precise assembly steps and 77 full-dimension inspections. The factory has turned production experience into repeatable standards and traceable digital indicators, increasing efficiency by 50 percent compared with traditional manual production.
