[GBA Thrills] Spring Tea Picking Weaves a Picturesque Scene in Meinan Town
: :

Meinan Town in Guangdong Province, southern China, has entered its annual spring tea-picking season. Tea workers move through the fields, creating a lively pastoral scene of the spring harvest.

Terraced tea gardens stretch along the mountains, as tea plants across the hills put forth tender new shoots. Tea pickers are scattered across the plantations, deftly plucking leaves with their fingers.

Meinan Town has steadily advanced the development of its tea industry. The town has a total of about 4.33 square kilometers of tea plantations, of which large-scale cultivation covers approximately 3.33 square kilometers, with an annual output of roughly 100 tons.

The local area follows an eco-friendly model featuring manual picking while maintaining strict quality management. With certified eco-friendly tea gardens and professional technical guidance, local authorities ensure rigorous quality standards for tea products, improving both quality and productivity.
