The 9th International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival in Chengdu dazzled as a global celebration of living traditions. Nearly 400 masters from 60+ countries brought 600 heritage projects to life, creating a vibrant crossroads of cultural exchange.  

This year broke all conventions - performers danced through the crowd during an immersive opening, while four themed forums spotlighted 89 exquisite crafts. Visitors marveled at Chinese embroidery alongside Venetian glass and Polish lace, witnessing the world's finest artistry in one place.  

The festival's heart beat strongest in its collaborations: Polish and Chinese artists created 'Scenery Along the Way', a stunning mural of women from seven nations. Nearby, weavers from 11 countries intertwined willow branches into a magnificent symbol of unity.  

"Gateway to the world's living heritage," visitors called it - a testament to Chengdu's perfect blend of ancient charm and creative energy. For seven unforgettable days, this city proved itself as the global stage where traditions don't just survive, but thrive together.
