Dubbed the Lanmei Rong Express, this year’s first fruit-dedicated service races from Bangkok to Chengdu in just 72 hours—nonstop—with a seamless, temperature-controlled cold chain locking in freshness.  

Valued at 12 million yuan, this rail route slashes the traditional 7–9 day truck journey (and its 10% spoilage rate) to near-zero waste. The result? Vibrant, just-picked flavor bursting onto Sichuan’s tables.  

Since May, Chengdu’s rail hub and local importers have brought in over 1,000 tonnes of exotic fruit, generating 50+ million yuan in trade. Every piece stays perfectly chilled—preserving aroma, texture, and sun-ripened sweetness.
